Quuppa is now looking for an Embedded Systems Support Engineer to join the team! In this role your main task will be to provide support for our technology partners developing Quuppa-compatible products. Your work involves instructing and educating the partner about the Quuppa technology and products and working closely with the partner company’s embedded software and hardware developers to ensure high-quality products that are compatible with the Quuppa system. You are also responsible for conducting the Quuppa testing and approval process for accepting the finalized products.
Our ideal candidate for this role is a customer-oriented embedded system engineer who is self-motivated, hands-on and organized, capable of successfully following-up and completing complex tasks. Having experience in embedded software and hardware development helps you to excel when supporting fellow embedded and electrical engineers. To be successful in this role you need to be able to specify and document the requirements of the Quuppa system and to explain those requirements to embedded software and hardware developers. You also need to be able to validate their implementations, provide suggestions and alternative solutions, and help them debug and troubleshoot their designs.
As Embedded Systems Support Engineer, there is a lot of both internal and external communication which underlines the importance of interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the Tag Ecosystem Manager and the Product Support team to coordinate activities. We are preferably looking for someone who can work full-time, but it is also possible to start as a part-time employee if you are about to finish your studies soon.
