Quuppa is now looking for a Technical Customer Support Engineer to join the team! In this role your main task will be to provide remote support for customers in technical questions related to Quuppa’s products. This work involves instructing and educating the customer on how to use the Quuppa products and also performing troubleshooting in case of problems. In addition, you will participate in the development of Quuppa’s customer support program, provide technical customer training, and create technical documentation together with the team. The role can be extended to cover wider responsibilities depending on your knowledge, interests and skills.

Our ideal candidate for this role is a customer-oriented engineer who is self-motivated, hands-on and organized, capable of successfully following-up and completing complex tasks, and not afraid of asking questions.  In this role, there is a lot of both internal and external communication which underlines the importance of interpersonal skills. To be successful in this role you need to be able to learn in depth the Quuppa system and be fluent in explaining the system features to customers. You also need to be able to validate customers’ implementations, provide suggestions and alternative solutions, and help them debug and troubleshoot system architectures.

We are preferably looking for someone who can work full-time, but it is also possible to start as a part-time employee if you are about to finish your studies soon.

Requirements for the applicant:

  • 1-3 years work experience from technical support including troubleshooting customer cases

  • Strong, hands-on technical background and skill set from studies or previous work experience, for example, in the fields of radio engineering, telecommunications, computer networking, electrical engineering, or computer science

  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset

  • Good interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach to work

  • Relevant studies in engineering/technology (university or university of applied sciences)

  • Fluent spoken and written communication skills in English

The following qualities are considered as advantages:

  • Good knowledge of Linux/Windows servers, computer networks, IT infrastructures (routers, switches, etc.), and cloud, virtualization and containerization technologies

  • Communication skills in other languages, for example, Japanese, German, Korean, or Spanish
